The main objective of the Network of UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs and C2Cs related to Culture is to facilitate interaction, enhance connectivity and consolidate information for all its members. The site will require a quick registration for all participants and will offer many tools, such as:

The Forum tool allows for live interaction, following and participating remotely in any conference available through the portal as well as instant feedback on any topic. Regional, sub-regional and many more categorised discussions, quick surveying, file sharing, among others.
The Directory tool which contains all information ranging from members’ contact details, location and areas of work and interest; academic research and reports, event information, any multimedia files, lists of Chairs and Centres by keywords, facilitating access and allowing users to select and download information.

Additionally, members may find documents, images and agendas related to the event easily from the News and Events section.
The Upload form allows users to quickly share a file with the other Network users. Simply fill in the form and it will be immediately published under Contributions.
The Resources menu allows users to access their contributions to the Network. These contributions can be in many formats, PDFs, URLs, Word Documents, etc.
A peer-run Newsletter regularly distributed in-house publications that contain a variety of topics and highlights related to the Network. Any user can sign up and stay up-to-date with all the activities of the Network.
The Network allows for two different kinds of users: Category 1, which consists exclusively of members that have an affiliation with UNESCO and have full access to all the functionalities; and category 2 members, which consists of non-affiliated members that have restricted access to the site.
The idea behind the Network is to facilitate access to information for all its members, allowing them to share and update their own content with everyone while minimising efforts and reducing time. It also has strict privacy filters that protect member’s information and activity within the Network. Please browse through all of the functionalities of the site, and if you have any questions, you can refer to our FAQ tab where you can find answers to all your inquiries. This platform will allow the network to improve its connectivity and will move it one step forward; so get started with the Network, we hope that it will help all of us continue working as poles of excellence and innovation.
