Construction

Injection-molded polypropylene back, seat and shroud
Legs are made from 7/8” OD x 13 gauge tubular steel
Outer backrest supports formed from 1” diameter tubular steel are inserted into sockets molded into backrest and allow for 15 degrees of movement
Frames are finished in either backed-on applied 30 degree gloss epoxy powder-coated paint or bright nickel-chrome plating

Stacking

Grazie's 4-leg and sled base chairs stack up to 12-high on a dolly or 5-high on the floor for poly versions. 4-leg chairs with casters stack up to 5-high on the floor for both poly and upholstered options.

Arm Options

Grazie stack chairs are available with cantilever arms, flip-up tablet arms, flip-up oversize tablet arms, or flip/store tablet arms.

Material Options

Grazie chairs are available in all-poly, with upholstered seat, or with upholstered seat and back.

Glides/Castors

The 4-leg chairs offer three glide options: plastic, steel, or felt; or 50 mm hard or soft surface casters in black. Sled base chairs offer non-skid, plastic, steel, felt glides or no glide.

Giancarlo Piretti

Giancarlo Piretti (Bologna, Italy, 1940) is an Industrial Designer. Among his successful designs are Plia folding chair, his best-seller exhibited at Moma NY, Platone folding desk, and DSC (106-AXIS) seating system. For Vertebra chairs he obtained the Compasso d'Oro (Italy) as well as for his largest project, Piretti Collection office & institutional seating system. Other designs include Xylon wooden chairs, Torsion collection of institutional chairs; Engage & Impulse office chair lines featured by a synchro tilt mechanism Piretti developed; #18000 nesting & stacking chairs; and the Strive chair collection. The Pirouette nesting table and Grazie and Doni chairs for KI U.S. are G. Piretti's latest designs.
